Well friends, packing up the rest of my studio today and dropping things off to Goodwill, friends and storage. Can't believe my move to Austin has arrived so quickly. Still a SLO town girl at heart, so family and friends make room on your couch for frequent visits.
Had a lovely time last Sunday afternoon at Studios on the Park , a non-profit studio arrangement in Paso Robles. So many talented people under one roof. I was really impressed with the silversmith, the potter and Lynn Kishiyama's folded kimonos (a real mixed media delight.) Anne Landon and Sasha Irving deserve so much credit for foresight and achieving a big dream!

Man, I need to check Facebook more. I didn't realize this was happening. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck on your move, and hopefully Texas will be as good to you as California. Considering the economic troubles here we're going to be indistinguishable from Mad Max in five years, tops.
